Here for sale we have a Canadian built Larrivee OM-03R acoustic guitar in satin finish. Built in october 2004 (serialed october 25 2004) this guitar features a Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, a Mahogany neck, an Ebony fingerboard and bridge, X pattern bracing, and a 25.5” scale length.
The OM-03R plays very comfortably, it's neck with a soft ‘C’ profile gives ergonomic thumb positioning while still giving enough "meat" for the ones that love that. Great all round guitar.
The OM body size is lovely to play, feeling large and responsive without being as cumbersome as a dreadnought and the all-solid wood construction makes for a very lively and dynamic instrument.
The Sitka Spruce gives the guitar great projection, punch and clarity, while the Rosewood back and sides gives a warm and rounded low end along with excellent articulation. The minimal satin finish really lets the guitar speak with a pure, natural tone which gets beautifully translated by the (after market) LR Baggs M1 Active soundhole pickup.
