Built from 1987 till 1990 in very limited numbers this 1990 Martin D-16W featured a dreadnought body with a spruce top, walnut back and sides, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard. Key specifications include a 25.4-inch scale length, 20 frets, and chrome Grover tuners. While this model had less ornamentation than other series, it shared some construction details, and the "16" series from this era often had a simpler X-bracing pattern.
Very well taken care of guitar here, comes with hardshell case. She has some minor playwear, as pictured, very very little fretwear and sounds absolutely amazing.
Recently has a good once over by a Martin warranty authorized luthier.
