The MiniFreak 49 takes Arturia's hybrid MiniFreak synth and puts it on a full-size 49-key semi-weighted keyboard with velocity and aftertouch. Each of its 6 voices runs two digital sound engines with over 30 oscillator modes, from virtual analog and FM to wavetable, granular, sample-based and physical modelling, then passes through its own analog state-variable filter and VCA.

Modulation is where it gets fun: a per-voice envelope plus a cycling envelope, two LFOs per voice, the XYZ touch matrix and Freak Control macros. Add three effects slots, a 64-step sequencer with four modulation lanes and an arpeggiator, and there's a lot to explore. It also loads presets from the original MiniFreak, and the included MiniFreak V software brings it into your DAW.
