Boss just put 120 of its own effects engines into one pedalboard-friendly box — the EX-4 Effects Expander is built to slot into the board you already love and fill in whatever it's missing. Run up to four effects at once, in any order — even stack the same effect twice — with a color display and four color-coded buttons for fast, stompbox-style control.

Alongside drives, distortions, modulation, delay, reverb, and deep cuts like the Slicer and SG-1 Slow Gear, the EX-4 carries dedicated utility blocks — foot volume, two noise suppressors, a send/return loop for your existing pedals, and a divider/mixer — that can drop in anywhere in the chain. 128 preset memories plus 128 user slots, global EQ, mono/stereo I/O, TRS MIDI, and an external expression/control input round it out.
