Boss Metal Zone MT-2 Distortion Pedal

The MT-2 Metal Zone is one of the most popular Boss pedals ever made — an over-the-top distortion with huge mids and lows and an ultra-saturated sound, driven by a unique dual-gain circuit. Its three-band EQ with semi-parametric mid (MIDDLE ±15 dB, MID FREQ sweepable 200 Hz–5 kHz) dials in everything from chugging mid-scooped rhythm to cutting leads.

Highlights:

• Dual-gain circuitry for super-long sustain and heavy mids and lows
• 3-band EQ with semi-parametric Mid (MIDDLE ±15 dB, MID FREQ 200 Hz–5 kHz)
• DIST, HIGH/LOW, MIDDLE/MID FREQ, LEVEL controls; road-tough Boss metal construction
• Buffered bypass; runs on 9V battery or PSA-series adaptor (sold separately)
• Compact 73 x 129 x 59 mm, 385 g with battery
