Primacoustic Acoustic Treatment (Priced by Quote)

Maar's Music is an authorized Primacoustic dealer. We design and install acoustic treatment as part of our sound and video installation service. Acoustic treatment suits churches, schools, offices, studios and community spaces, and we choose the panel layout, sizing and colour for your room as part of the quote.

We quote complete acoustic treatment, from wall panels to ceiling clouds and baffles. Below are the Primacoustic Broadway products we quote most often, with their common sizes. Follow the links for full specs on primacoustic.com.

Broadway wall panels

• Broadway Wall Panels: High-density glass wool panels with balanced broadband absorption, to improve clarity and speech intelligibility. They're particularly effective at eliminating reflections, echoes and reverberation in rooms with parallel walls, and mount flush on walls or in corners. They come 2 inches thick (3 inches by request), with square or bevelled edges, in fabric colours or a paintable finish (NRC 1.00 for the 2- and 3-inch fabric panels).
  Examples: Broadway 1x4 (12 x 48 in), Broadway 2x4 (24 x 48 in). For a 4x4 (48 x 48 in) size, see Broadway Clouds below, which can also be used as wall panels.

Ceiling clouds and baffles

• Broadway Clouds: Ceiling-suspended glass wool clouds that absorb sound on their face and trap reflections on their rear side, for better clarity and speech intelligibility. They're 2 inches thick with a square edge and ship with suspension hardware. They can also be used as baffles or wall panels.
  Examples: 4x4 Cloud (48 x 48 in), 2x4 Cloud (24 x 48 in)
• Broadway Baffles: Baffles that hang vertically from the ceiling and absorb sound on both sides, cutting ambient noise, reverberation and echo without using wall space. They're particularly effective in large rooms with low ceilings, such as community halls, conference rooms and houses of worship. 1.5 inches thick, suspension hardware included.
  Examples: Saturna (48 x 24 in), Saturna LP (48 x 12 in)
• Stratus Studio Cloud: A ceiling cloud system for recording studios and critical listening rooms: 2-inch glass wool panels in 16-gauge aluminium frames that absorb from 100 Hz up. Several units can be linked into a larger acoustic ceiling, and they ship with installation hardware.
  Examples: Stratus (24 x 48 in) in Black, Grey or Paintable

Bass traps for studios

• FullTrap and MaxTrap: For mixing rooms and studios, these traps combine Broadway panels with a suspended diaphragm that absorbs deep, low bass.
