The 12-string signature bass from dUg Pinnick (frontman and bassist of King's X) is an extremely exclusive instrument. The bass is a 4-string bass, but with one octave and one doubled string. A mahogany body is perfect to produce a powerful and resonant tone. A Seymour Duncan Pro Active APB-1 and a Seymour Duncan 2-Band 'STC-2S-B0' EQ do the rest.
